Well my two neighbors and i went to some homeschool stores one is a used book store and the others are new book stores they were all nice. I really and looking forward to the big book fair in two weeks but i am enjoying looking at all the places. I really want a full curriculum so i have a basic guide so i get all the basic for sure and then i want to add with hands on and extras. i really like the abeka and the alpha omega. but i am still looking. I learned today that they start teaching cursive in pre-k and kindergarten, that is just crazy i didn't learn cursive till like 1st grade in a public school. but i bought a practice book and had Cantrell try the F sheet since that's what we are working on. He did OK he can trace it well. I wish i could figure out how to get him to really try to do things, he says he wants to but then just keeps playing. i don't know whether to just tell him to try again later or to just make him sit there till he gets it done. i realize he is only 4 but i think he should be able to sit for 10 minutes and do one work sheet.

we like this set. we have also used a lot of other good books. our blog has a few of them listed. good luck it is a hard decision. We bought some stuff we have not used because it did not fit the learning style of the Girls. Maybe it will fit for Kevin. Call us if you want to talk about the ones we found.
