threshing days

In a little town near my parents they have an old time threshing days where they use old steam tractors to thrush the grains. It is so neat and educational. The kids enjoyed it . they had old time crafts, like corn cob dolls, milk jug houses, and paper dolls, they had big bins of corn and wheat and barley to play in like sand. We rode a covered wagon, it hurt so bad i can imagine riding in one for a long time across the plains or anywhere. We had a great time it was very hot but was worth it.
