First Day of our New Homeschool Coop

This year we are attending a home school coop group. We are doing a variety of subjects with the group, history, science , Dangerous boys, Darling girls, Girl scouts and boy scouts, and fields trips. and I'm sure some more things will work into these areas also. The kids a really enjoying it! Its a great addition to our school. We are making some new friends and new memories. It is nice because , we are a christian group and almost all the families are military also.

The first day we learned Paul Revere, started a heritage book and talked about our hobbies. In the boys class they talked about the 11 things boys should have in their pockets, such as a set of marbles, sewing kit, flashlight, Swiss army knife, matches (when they are old enough), handkerchief, compass,fishing line, hook, i cant remember the other things. Cantrell just loves this concept. He talks about it all the time.
The girls made the color things and started working on a Flat Stacie. She really enjoys her class. I tend to stay with the boys because the boys teachers are few so i help out tin there, so i am not always sure what they are up to. We have a group time then they split into boys and girls. I am glad we have found a place to be a part of.
