February -- visit home

In February we were blessed to be able to go back west for a visit with family . We drove a different route this time we went through Tennessee and Arkansas  then to Oklahoma we enjoyed that route. We got to see new sites we stop ed in Memphis to see where Steven had been early in his military career.I enjoy seeing where he has been and what he has done. We had a great time with our friends and family Steven has not seen them as much as i have we were so grateful he got to see them before deploying again and getting to show off Evelynn was a delight.
It snowed while we were there. The children and I were so excited Steven not so much. It was Evelynns first snow.
We had a valentines day party with the Darkis family and grandma Nancy , we made cards, and played games and won candy.  I love to give my children those experiences i love to see the joy on their faces.

We were so blessed to get to take a family photo with Stevens grandparents, we love them so much and love learning from them . The kids call them Great grandma a nd Grandpa grape . We love it and keep it going even though the children know who they really are.
We also took pictures with my family its so rare we are all in one place i treasure the time i get with family. Family is such a gift we need to treasure it and make it important even from afar.

And sadly Stevens birthday was a flop i felt so bad after he did so great for me i did terrible and we were trveling back which didnt help. Happy birthday babe!
