coupons

So last year i took a coupon class i would recommend taking her class to anyone. It is $40 but you get more then $40 in coupons and alot of info. thecouponconsultantclass.com

I will however be sharing my experiences with coupons through out the year.

This week i did my first 2010 coupon shopping . I learned alot.

First- really start working on a price list. Which is a list of the items you buy or want to buy at the different stores you go to for example. Chili seasoning. 1st store it was $1.25 ( Harris teeter) 2nd store $1.20 (farm fresh) which is where i bought it. then i went to 3rd store and it was .50cents (commissary). so i will be working very hard on making a list of items and the price.

So here is a run down of my shopping yesterday.

Harris teeter they are having a super double deal going till the 12th where they double coupons up to $1.98. So a coupon for $1.50 is now worth $3.00 its a great deal.

So i got all this for $32.12 with a savings of $ 41.09 now this savings was from coupons and the VIC savings which is there savings for having their discount card. You can only use 20 coupons per household per day. and only 3 of the same coupon.

the baby food i actually got free . i know i dont need them but i hope to bless someone with them. one of my favorite things i have heard about coupons is that people have been able to bless missionaries with the things they have got free or very cheap. I hope to be used this way. and it save our family money. some of the things i buy because i can get them cheap and i will donate them i try not to use a coupon just because i have it. but it must be something we will eat or cheap enough to donate.
ps: i do recommned going to the stores website and read the coupon policy for that store.
