It was dollar day at the aquarium which when it saves around 45+ dollars we go which we were glad it is a neat little place but not worth the big charge for admission. We enjoyed the sea turtles and the dolphin show . We are studying the sea so it was great field trip for school. The kids really like being able to touch some pencil urchins and the sea horses. We are glad we went . We want to see all we can while here.
The things we did learn :
There are 5 different sea turtle breeds.
we learned where the barb is on a stingray and to drag your feet as you walk into the sea to scare the stingray away.
The top a jellyfish is called a bell.
The poison from dart frogs is used on small arrows to kill other animal for the natives to eat.
what pencil fish is and that they live at the top of the water and are hard to see but we did.
that's about it. the jellyfish bell is our favorite because we see them and never know what to call them.
