School !!

We have a great two weeks of school it is nice to be in a daily good routine. The kids are enjoying the regular day. We have done crafts , had recess at the park in our loop. And the best was having school at the beach. It is nice to be by the water we just love the water and the sand . WE read the signs about the wildlife we could see and drew pictures of some of the animals and took a walk on the pier to see what we could see , hear , smell, maybe taste, feel. It was fun! the kids are still talking about. What a life experience. I am finding so much joy in homeschooling and my kids i am enjoying them so much! I am so grateful to God that i can watch them learn , there is nothing like seeing there little minds click when something new makes since! What a true blessing! Cantrell is doing so well he is reading more and more. We are working on sight words and phonics it has helped to get reading moving alittle faster but he does know how to sound thing s out even if it is almost impossible for some words. He is so good at math he amazes me. We are working on the different continents Asia is what we are looking at now .We talk about people adopt from Asia. and what animals come from there. and where it is located on the map. Hope and i are going through before five in a row. We just finished Goodnight moon i love the curl up time with her and reading. I have found this week she is a hands on learner we were struggling to get her to recognize very letters and i had her use noodles to make and A and it stuck in her mind like glue and she traced the letter well with the glue which is so hard for her to do she has not gotten the writing thing down but it helps to use different things instead of just pencil.this is now my new challenge but i too learn like this. In science we are learning about our new life by the Sea. its so fun since it is lots of hands on experience.
