reading, writing and arithmetic

I am trying to make school alittle more fun the just the basics. Since we have been inside more i set up a exercise course inside , they did a sack race, then jumped rope, jumped over boots, bounced a ball, and did jumping jacks it was funny to watch them go through the course.

For reading we found a free site called starfall and we also share a site with our good friends in corpus called raz kids. the kids really like the different ways to read . We also go to the library almost weekly.

We got these little desk shield things, so they could keep from destructing each other. they work OK they can become a distraction them self's but we do use them . hopefully with time they will help them focus more.

We use many books for history, The history for little Pilgrims is a great book and the kids enjoy coloring in the color book that comes with it, They are so cute though because they want their pages to look just like the book looks so they match the colors just so . I love there little minds . We also use alot of American girl. they have some good curriculum with facts but also great stories to go along. and we us many many other books for history.
